Operations & Systems · San Diego

You're great at what you do. The business around it is my job.

I help small business owners get their operations running smoothly, so the business can stand on its own instead of leaning on them for everything. Some of the people I work with are just getting started. Others have built something good that now runs them ragged. I help with both.

Let's talk
Which of these is you?

Most owners I work with are in one of two spots.

Path 01 · Build

You're great at one thing. You want a real business around it.

You don't need to turn into a "business person." You keep doing what you're good at, and I'll build the business side around it, so the thing you love actually makes money and runs well.

  • Maybe you're a baker, a trainer, a hairstylist. You're great at the craft. It's the pricing, the systems, and the day-to-day running of it that trips you up.
  • Right now you're going on hustle and gut instinct, with no real structure holding it together.
  • You want a real business that can stand on its own, not just a busy side hustle that only works when you're grinding away at it.
Path 02 · Scale

You built it. Now it can't run without you.

You got it off the ground, and somewhere along the way it turned into something that needs you for every little decision. I build the systems that let it stand on its own, so it can keep growing without you in the middle of everything.

  • It can't get through a day without you. The moment you step away, things start to slip.
  • You're growing, but the duct-tape way you've always done things is starting to fall apart.
  • Everything lives in your head, so handing work off feels impossible and getting a new hire up to speed takes forever.
What I do

Here's what the work usually looks like.

Write down how things get done.

I get the way things actually work out of your head and into clear checklists and SOPs, so your team can follow them instead of coming to you with every question.

Find where things leak.

I go through your day-to-day operations and find the spots where time and money are slipping out without you noticing.

Build the systems.

I set up simple processes that hold up over time, so the business runs the same whether or not you're there that day.

Coach you through it.

I work alongside you so you can step back from being the one who does everything and actually run the place like an owner.

Why me

I've actually run small businesses, not just read about them.

Over the years I've helped dozens of small businesses sort out their operations. Most of the time people came to me, a friend or another owner with something that had gotten messy and stuck. I realized this was the thing I was best at, so I decided to do it for a living.

"I built a multi-brand international business that could run on its own for two or three weeks without me. I know how hard it is to get there, and how much it changes your life once you do."

How we'd start

We start with a conversation, not a contract.

We hop on a free call and talk through what's going on with your business. There's no obligation, and you'll come away with a clearer picture of things either way.

01

A free first call.

We talk through where things are getting stuck, and I'll be honest about whether it's something I can help with.

02

A focused first piece of work.

If there's a real problem worth solving, I dig into it properly and give you a clear plan you can actually act on.

03

Ongoing, only if it's worth it.

We keep working together only if that first piece of work proves its worth to you.

Let's talk

Let's talk about your business.

Grab a time that works for you and we'll go through what's going on and where I might be able to help. No prep needed on your end. And if you happen to be in San Diego, I'm always up for doing this over a coffee instead.
